1000 Weeks

May 5th marks an extraordinary feat. 1000 weeks as undefeated world champion and the weeks are still accumulating. It is a massive achievement, records are there to be broken but I personally am not sure when, or indeed if, this one will be.

If you Google World Champions and the length of their reigns it is really just boxing and wrestling which emblazon the pages!
In boxing the honour falls to Rocky Marciano who was champion and retired undefeated after nearly 4 years and in wrestling a ‘small fellow’ called Bruno Sammartino reigned for some 11 years. Rob you put them to shame…..!
