How to bid for the final eliminator can be downloaded here
There have been changes made due to feedback from clubs who have been interested in the past. The main change is a club has an option to place a bid which will only stand if the player they are supporting reaches the final eliminator. This is explained on page 1 of the document.

As a peripatetic player I can, perhaps, appreciate more than most the role, time and effort our professionals dedicate to their clubs and the members as well as the values they uphold.
