Preliminary Information for Visitors
The Royal Melbourne Tennis Club looks forward to welcoming you to Melbourne in May 2014 for the World Championship of Real Tennis.
Members from all clubs are encouraged to join us forwhat promises to be a wonderful match. We will either crown a new Champion or Robert Fahey will further cement his place in history.
There will be tennis for players of all standards and an exciting social program, designed to enhance the week. The tennis program includes dedicated events for younger players and we invite the youth of the tennis world to join us in Melbourne.
Billets will be available for our guests and there will be time to enjoy the wonderful city of Melbourne and its many attractions.
Tennis Program
The Challenge Match, best of thirteen sets.
Day 1, Tuesday 6 May, four sets, 6.30pm
Day 2, Thursday 8 May, up to four sets, 6.30pm Day 3, Saturday 10 May, up to five sets, 2pm
For visitors and local members, there will also be a full program of tennis including handicap doubles, Pro Am Doubles and the Australian Amateur Junior Singles (under 26). The tennis program will commence on Monday 5 May.

Welcome Cocktail Party Informal Dinner
Grand Celebration Dinner
There will also be specific social events for players and guests aged under 30.
All seating tickets will include pre match drinks & canapés and also include post match supper on Days 1 & 2.
Detailed information, includingregistration forms, will be available before Christmas 2013.
