World Record?

Oxford University Real Tennis Club member, Mathew Alden
Matthew is attempting to play more than 26 opponents, the current world record, and this massive task begins at 07:00 on Saturday 25th June through to Sunday 26th June.
What Matthew Has To Achieve
- The record stands at 26 opponents so he has to play at least 27 three set matches, off handicap, to break the record.
- As each match is likely to take between 40 and 80 minutes, it is likely to be 24 hours of non-stop tennis
Why Is Matthew Doing This
- All records are there to be broken
- More importantly though Matthew is supporting two charities and hopes to raise monies by this record attempt for
- KEEN: www.keenoxford.com Keen is a registered charity and a joint organisation of Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. It provides social, sporting and recreational activities for children and adults with special needs in the surrounding area
- MANY HOPES: www.manyhopes.org/youngjusticecenter/ This charity provides loving homes and excellent eduction for children in Kenya. It was founded by Bradden Young, who died in July 2014 aged 39 who was a life long friend of Matthew.
